No matter who you are, your station in life, etc. one day Death will knock on your door and you’ll open it and he’ll step through. Those you leave behind can either accept that it was your time and garner insight into life through your passing and move on with their own lives. Those left behind can chose to waste their life away with what ifs and could have beens…and follow in your tragic footsteps.

I am a firm believer of you make your bed now lie in it or get up change the linens and start anew. I prefer the latter. Learn from your mistakes. Learn from other’s mistakes and move on. Learn to separate the wheat from the chaff in your life. If it looks like shit, smells like shit..then it’s probably shit. Flush it and walk away–that can be said for people in your life as well.

I don’t believe that anyone who loves me would ever put me in a position of harm. My enemies would quite happily put me there. So think about that the next time a “loved” one offers you a drug, alcohol, an opportunity for infidelity or whatever their “drug” of choice may be. Think about it as you stumble down the wrong path who gave you the directions to get you lost again. Think about how if they really loved you they wouldn’t prey on your weaknesses or put you on a path of self destruction.

Love builds you up, holds you up, picks you up, and carries you through. Hate tears you down, knocks you down, and kicks you when you’re down….look around you at all the people in your life and make a list. Love/Hate and apply it to the previous sentence. You’ll be surprised at how many people you thought loved you are actually your enemies. The saddest thing of all is that most of the people on your Hate list are family.

They slouchy beret on the left–yes the red one. I couldn’t sleep so began to crochet it around midnight hence the name. Rap aficionados know that Midnight Marauders was a big “A Tribe Called Quest” hit album.
The yarn was a gift from The Crying Tree Studios out of Virginia Beach, VA…dyed and spun by Kerry.

Scraps & Sympathy Tea Pot cozy.Pattern by www.sheknitupthatball.comStash Busting Project.I borrowed the teapot from my friend Vickie from Yarn for Breakfast. I used my scrap yarn. This is also a good project for wools that are not next to skin soft that you may have in your too pretty to give away and too scratchy to put on my body.
